ABOUT ME

Having always been the last one to put my little pink compact camera away at parties and outings, I started getting nudges from friends and family to pursue photography professionally. I have always been determined to capture every moment, to be able to look back on images that bring back the sights, sounds, and smells of an event. So, whilst in the final year of my Fine Art Degree, I started second shooting alongside some well established pros, as well as doing some extra workshops, and studying a Business for Photographers course. With enough practical knowledge and experience under my belt, and having graduated, I could go it alone and put my passion into action. Nearly a decade later and I'm so grateful for those nudges every time I pick up my DSLR (a bit of an upgrade from my little pink point-and-shoot!).

Whether its your moment in the spotlight figuratively or literally, it is a joy to be able to capture some of the most exciting, emotional, fun, and important moments in people's lives.

In my spare time I like to crochet, perform with my am dram group, and binge watch Netflix shows. I'm currently based in Chesterfield but can cover the wider Derbyshire and Yorkshire areas as well as further afield.
